Fuller’s Unveils Pilot Brewery

News: September 2018

London brewery Fuller’s has unveiled its new pilot brewery.

The ten-barrel brewkit, which began production in August, is housed behind glass in the company’s shop at the brewery in Chiswick. It will allow Fuller’s to brew experimental beers, which can then be packaged in bottle, cask or keg. Previously, Fuller’s smallest batch size was 160 barrels.

The first beers to be produced are Beer One (7% ABV, a strong ale based on the Golden Pride recipe), Galaxy Pale (4%, a pale ale made with Galaxy hops), Grapefruit IPA (5.7%, made with grapefruit peel and juice), Thai Stout (4.8%, made with Thai spices), and a New England IPA (5.5%, featuring Cryo Hops – a trademarked process of cryogenically extracting lupulin from hops).
