Cains Set to Return

Print
News: July 2018

The famous Liverpool brewing name of Cains is set to return to the city.

Plans have been unveiled by local businessman Andrew Mikhail to revamp parts of the old Cains brewery to include a hotel, a sky bar and a music venue in the cellars. The plans also involve the installation of a microbrewery to revive Cains beers.

The grade II-listed brewery site – which is still owned by the Dusanj brothers, who failed to make a success of the brewery and ceased production in 2013 – is currently partly occupied by a number of independent bars.
