Tetley Bounces Back with New Pale Ale

Print
News: May 2018

Carlsberg UK is capitalising on the heritage of its Tetley’s brand by launching a new beer brewed in Yorkshire.

The Tetley brewery in Leeds was closed by Carlsberg in 2011 and Tetley Bitter has since been brewed by Marston’s in Wolverhampton but now a new beer, Tetley’s No.3 Pale Ale, has been released, brewed for Carlsberg by Leeds Brewery.

On sale in cask form only, the 4.2% ABV beer – featuring Pilgrim, Brewers Gold and Golding hops – is based on a recipe from the Tetley’s archive and is fermented with the Tetley’s double yeast strain.
