CAMRA’s Best Pub Designs Revealed

Print
News: March 2018

The winners of this year’s CAMRA Pub Design Awards have been announced.

The Fitzroy Tavern in Fitzrovia, London, has been presented with the Refurbishment award, after owner Samuel Smith returned the pub to its 1897 guise, installing new partitions and wrought-iron pub signs.

The Greenwood in Northolt has been declared the winner in the Conservation category, while the Sail Loft in Greenwich has been given the now, rarely-presented award for New Build.

The only pub outside London to feature this year is the Bowland Beer Hall in Clitheroe, which has claimed the Conversion to Pub Use prize, following its transformation from a former textile mill.
