Chiltern’s Charity Beer for Toddler

Print
News: March 2018

Chiltern Brewery’s annual charity beer for this year is in aid of a three-year-old girl with a rare illness.

Sophie Edes, the granddaughter of a former Chiltern team member, has been diagnosed with Rett Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder that is likely to prevent her from speaking or walking. Five pence from every pint sold of the cask beer will go towards Sophie’s cause and the equipment she will need to improve her quality of life.

The new beer is a 4.2% ABV dark amber ale made with Maris Otter pale malt, crystal malt and roasted barley, along with Golding, Fuggle and Cascade hops.
