SIBA Clamps Down on Offensive Marketing

SIBA, the Society of Brewers, has unveiled a new code of practice for its members that aims to eradicate offensive or sexist marketing in the industry.

Members are being asked to consider all their current branding, even if long standing, and to make changes to anything considered inappropriate by today’s customers.

SIBA is also to debate the subject at its forthcoming Beer X conference and exhibition, being held in Liverpool, 14–15 March.
