Yorkshire Brewery Goes Entirely Gluten-Free

Malton-based Brass Castle brewery has moved to make all its beers gluten-free.

The company reveals it has achieved this outcome not by using alternative cereals to barley and wheat but by adding a vegan-friendly enzyme to its beers that reduces dissolved gluten.

To support the move, Brass Castle is investing £200,000 in laboratory equipment and a canning line, enabling it to package more beer itself and also certify every batch of cask, keg or canned beer in house.
