News: January 2018

The recent furore regarding sexism in the brewing industry is being tackled head on by CAMRA with a debate at the Manchester Beer Festival.

The panel discussion titled ‘Sexism is bad for business. What are we going to do about it?’ is being chaired by Christine Cryne, with contributors including Jaega Wise, head brewer at Wild Card, and Annabel Smith, founder of Dea Latis, the organisation that aims to bring beer to more women.

The debate takes place from 6.30pm to 7.30pm on 24 January, the opening day of the festival.
