Chiltern’s Ales Gluten-Free

News: March 2017

Four of the beers produced by Buckinghamshire’s Chiltern Brewery are now certified gluten-free.

The recipes for Monument Gold Pale Ale (3.8% ABV), John Hampden’s Golden Harvest Ale (4.8%), 300’s Dark Old Ale (5%) and Battle of Britain Old Ale (5%) have not been altered. Instead, natural gluten from the barley is broken down during the fermentation and filtration process.

Chiltern has also released a new charity beer, Pride of Bucks and Berks (4.2%), with 5p for every pint sold going to support the Horatio’s Garden project to create and care for an accessible garden at Stoke Mandeville hospital.
