Moor Beer Wins CAMRA Winter Title

A beer from Bristol’s Moor Beer brewery has been named Champion Winter Beer of Britain.

Old Freddy Walker, a strong old ale (7.5% ABV), took the title from runner-up Black Galloway, a porter from Sulwath Brewery, and Magic Rock’s Dark Arts stout.

The competition was judged at the National Festival of Winter Ales in Norwich. Full results can be found in our Beer Awards Results section.
