Stringers Wins CAMRA Champion Bottled Beer Title

A beer from Stringers brewery in Cumbria has been named Champion Bottled Beer of Britain by the Campaign for Real Ale.

Stringers Mutiny, a 9.3% ABV double stout, was judged first in the competition for bottle-conditioned beers, which was held at the BBC Good Food Show in Birmingham.

Runner-up was Flipside’s Russian Rouble, with Crouch Vale’s Yakima Gold taking the bronze medal.
