Major Investment at Hogs Back

Print
News: October 2016

Surrey’s Hogs Back Brewery has embarked on a £400,000 investment programme.

The initiative has already seen the arrival of three new fermentation and maturation vessels at the Tongham site. The two 120-barrel vessels and one 80-barrel vessel will provide additional capacity for conditioning the company’s Hogstar lager and the new keg ale, London’s Outback.

The infrastructure for four more 120-barrel tanks has been put in place and a new boiler and chilling system are planned. Further expansion will see a new visitor centre opened after an additional warehouse has been added.

Hogs Back’s own hopgarden, adjacent to the brewery, was recently featured in an edition of the BBC’s Countryfile.
