Print
News: April 2016

A pub in Sunderland has captured two titles in this year's CAMRA Pub Design Awards.

The Grade II-listed Dun Cow, a former gin palace dating from 1901 in the city centre, has been declared the winner in both the Refurbishment and Conservation categories. Also honoured are two Wetherspoon pubs, the Chief Justice of the Common Pleas in Keswick (Conversion to Pub Use) and the Admiral Collingwood in Ilfracombe (New Build).

The Bevy at Bevendean, Brighton, has been given the Joe Goodwin Award for outstanding community pub.
