Moorhouse’s Says Goodbye to MD

Print
News: April 2016

David Grant, managing director of Moorhouse’s brewery, has left the company.

Grant joined the Burnley-based business fourteen years ago when it was producing just thirty-five barrels of beer a week. He has resigned his position with the company installed in a state-of-the-art brewhouse with a capacity of 1,000 barrels a week.

The move comes as the brewery chairman Bill Parkinson has called for a revision of Progressive Beer Duty, claiming that it works against medium-sized businesses such as Moorhouse’s, leaving them at a financial disadvantage against smaller breweries.
