A-B and SAB Agree Terms

Print
News: October 2015

Brewing giants A-B InBev and SABMiller have agreed terms for a merger.

The move follows an increased bid for SABMiller shares from the rival brewing company, taking the value of the deal up to around £70 billion. The two businesses now have until 28 October to finalise the terms of the deal, which would give the new company a 30% share of world beer production.

The value of SABMiller shares has risen by half since A-B InBev first made an offer in mid-September.
