William Worthington Brewery Saved

Print
News: September 2015

The William Worthington Brewery, an in-house facility at the National Brewery Centre in Burton-on-Trent, is to resume production.

The modern brewhouse has not been in use for more than a year, because of safety concerns, but now brewery owner Molson Coors has sold the equipment to Planning Solutions Limited (PSL), which runs the visitor attraction.

Production of the White Shield and Red Shield ales will resume on site, with the involvement of former head brewer Steve Wellington.
