Caledonian Adds Pilot Brewery

News: July 2015

Heineken UK's Caledonian Brewery has invested in a new pilot brewery at its Edinburgh home.

The 400-litre brewkit, installed at a cost of more than £100,000, will enable the brewers to trial new brews that may then be scaled up for brewing on the full-size brewery if successful.

The pilot brewery has been named Wee George, after George Lorimer, who founded the brewery.
