A-B InBev Buys Another Brazilian Brewery

Print
News: July 2015

One of Brazil's longest established small breweries has been acquired by Ambev, the Brazilian arm of A-B InBev.

Colorado, based in São Paulo state, was founded in 1996 and has become known for producing classic beer styles that incorporate exotic local ingredients.

The business is the second Brazilian brewery Ambev has taken over this year, after the purchase of Wäls, and joins the likes of the USA's Goose Island and Elysian Brewing in A-B InBev's growing list of 'craft' breweries.
