SIBA Evolves Direct Delivery Scheme

Print
News: June 2015

The Society of Brewers (SIBA) has introduced changes to its successful Direct Delivery Scheme (DDS) that enables beers from smaller brewers to gain access to the pub company market.

The scheme, now renamed Beerflex, will now allow keg beers as well as cask beers to be directly supplied by breweries and will permit brewers to price their beers according to style and ingredients and not be constrained by alcoholic strength as now.

DDS was introduced in 2003 and currently helps around 550 breweries to supply some 4,000 different beers to more than 2,500 pub company houses.
