Fuller's Mourns Former Head Brewer

Print
News: June 2015

Tributes have been paid to Reg Drury, former head brewer at Fuller's, who passed away on 7 June, aged seventy-six.

Reg Drury led Fuller's brewing and operations teams for forty years, retiring as brewing director only in 1999. During his time at the Chiswick brewery, he oversaw the switch from open squares to conical fermenters and claimed the Champion Beer of Britain prize on no fewer than five occasions. After leaving the company, he worked as an assessor for Cask Marque.

Simon Emeny, Fuller's chief executive, described Reg as 'a true gentleman' who would 'always be synonymous with Fuller's'.
