Brewery Celebrates 50 Years of Chiltern Protection

Print
News: May 2015

Buckinghamshire's Chiltern Brewery is producing a new beer to mark the fiftieth anniversary of two important local conservation bodies.

Both the Chiltern Society, whose volunteers maintain paths, woodlands and heritage sites in the area, and The Chilterns AONB, the public body that promotes and conserves the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, are a half-century old and the brewery that shares their name is to release a commemorative beer in the autumn.

Five pence will go to the two bodies from every pint sold of the new beer, which is to be named through a public competition. Details of how to enter will be posted on the Chiltern website from 1 June.
